Hatched was in a cash crisis and funds we going to dry up. Board stresses had increased.

The overall lack of clarity was not allowing Hatched to create a successful business ready for sale. A rapid turnaround and transformation from top to bottom was required.

Hatched turned around from burning cash to becoming the first UK online estate agency to make a profit. The founders were happy in their new roles and direction. Hatched had aligned teams with clear performance metrics directly linked to the overall strategy of the business.  The value of the business increased and became highly desirable to the sector. 

After a number of proposals to be bought, Hatched founders decided the time was right to sell. This ended in a bidding war between four companies leaving the shareholders in a strong position to construct a deal that met their business and personal requirements.
