After five years of rapid growth and winning multiple awards, including the Deloitte Fast 50, our growth began to flatline.

Frustrations grew and a once united team started to drift apart as business divisions took different directions.

We’d lost the joy we once had. Consequently, we began looking to sell the business.

BGI Approach.

BGI, helped us prepare the business for sale. Part of this process was for us to become a very early adopter of Strategy on a Page.

We found that tapping back into why we set up the business, what our passion was and uniting our vision and values brought us back together as a team sharing a single vision.

Properly documenting our strategy, assigning clear priorities and monthly accountability to BGI cut out a lot of the noise and gave us clarity in what, why and when we needed to deliver.

Our strategy became simple, united and rapidly implemented. When challenges arose and as our strategy moved on, BGI’s expertise was always there to advise and guide us.

This gave us huge confidence and speed to progress.

One founder amicably left, the rest of us united and got our passion for the business back. We instantly started growing rapidly again and decided not to sell, but to start an acquisition and organic growth strategy of our own.

We split up the divisions into three different businesses, so we could develop separate leadership structures and strategies.

Each business then thrived and evolved to a SaaS models or brought our services in-house to drive up profits and shareholder value.

Our businesses could then move up the value chain and win larger value contracts.
