BGI Head of Art Direction Peter Gausis


Peter is Head of Art Direction for BGI. Over the last twelve months he’s been instrumental in elevating the quality of our online and offline assets.

He has many years of experience producing effective, creative solutions for clients across just about every business sector and industry in nine countries on three continents. 

He has picked up some of the most prestigious awards the advertising industry has to offer, including Gold for advertising effectiveness at the IPA. Peter's esteemed career has seen him work as either Art or Creative Director at Publicis, Leo Burnett Group, BBDO, Abbott Mead Vickers, BMP, WCRS and Grey Group. Peter's work has spanned Volvo, Subaru, Qatar Airways, The Economist, The Guardian, John Smith's Bitter, Carling Black Label, Sainsbury's, Dolmio and Citibank.

Peter is a self-confessed coffee bore and qualified barista. When not hunting down the perfectly extracted roast, he keeps his hand in at jazz guitar, karate, and likes nothing more than watching his beloved Newcastle United with a pint of fine ale.
